Solution Process

The usual process to implement such a solution is for our advisory team to meet with the client legal and compliance team to gain an understanding of the risks faced by the client in particular markets as well as the number of companies to be screened. Due to our background in the medical devices and pharmaceutical market - and in most regions - we will generally know what the relevant and common issues are. Once an overall picture of number of cases and regions is developed, our team will assist the client through our due diligence process.

Utilising the Questionnaire Tool   the client collects key information from partners and maintains a database of the information gathered on business partners. Through the embedded risk scoring and review process the client can determine each partner’s risk based on the information gathered, and then assigns appropriate risk mitigation procedures.

The Partner Questionnaire Approval/Review process collects data from the questions completed by the business partner. These are then reviewed by the client. This process allows the client to review the partner’s details as well as collect and maintain its own impressions and information on the partner.

The Partner Questionnaire Risk Scoring system allows the client to develop a multi-level risk score of its business partners taking into account issues around theft, product liability and partner reputation.

Through the Due Diligence Manager the completed questionnaire risk score links to your due diligence programme, resulting in a tailored due diligence investigation on each partner based on the risk level identified for that partner. The Due Diligence Manager allows for the tracking, managing and effective auditing of the due diligence process on all partners.

Risk appropriate due diligence cases are completed according to the level of risk identified and delivered through the Due Diligence Manager. These may be High, Medium, Low and sometimes even Enhanced cases. All include elements focused on identifying issues around theft, liability and reputation.

  • Reputation and media profiles on partners to uncover undesirable practices and integrity risks
  • Site visits and discreet reputational enquiries to check security, transport, storage, production and service capacity of partner business sites and their reputation in the industry for providing these things
  • Media profiling and litigation checks with local courts to determine whether partners have a history of theft or other legal troubles.
